Default Flowmaster 60 Series Kit

Anyone actually heard the kit/muffler on a noen, my friend got a muffler for his 91 Tegra and It didnt make a difference, just sounds like a rattle at higher rpms.

Sounds deep and mellow, but that is with upgraded 2.5" piping.

*edit* I was thinking of the Camaro Series muffler. It's cheaper if you upgrade the piping with Dynomax or pacesetter 2.5", then put on the Camaro muffler.

Pacesetter and Mopar have ones that bolt up.

What about a Hedman Header?
The Hedman is a suitable stock exhaust manifold replacement, but since it has tubes even shorter than the Pacesetter, it makes the least hp of any header available. No direct fit header like the Hedman/Chikara will make much hp over stock since the tubes are so short.

I had the flowmaster 80 on my Neon all years and used 2.5 exit piping. It sounds mean at idle and has a great rumble driving, not that rice burner sound. Ill fair warn you it is loud but worth it all.

Muffler plus install will run 125.00 if you get one on ebay then go to a muffler shop.

i have one for sale all ready to weld on if interested. cheap. w. chrome tips.

i have a super 40 series on my neon and even at high rpms it does not sound bad it is always deep and loud and since it is in the same spot the stock one is i have a 24" exhaust tip straight out the side(its a resotipe) and it sticks out about 3 inches
