Default 18 inch rims

i have a 1997 4 door neon, and i was wondering what size 18 inch rims would fit. What size width, and what size tire would be needed. What is the lug nut size, 5x100. I dont know crap about neons, i just bought it

Also, i am not sure if i want to lower the car, so is it possible to keep the diameter the same as stock.

Thanks in advance

it is 5x100
215/35 18 or 205/35 18

i had some 18's on my 98 a while back and they were 8 inches wide..looked awsome, but i didnt have it lowered....though i dont see that being a problem

Get bigger brakes if you go with rims that big. Big rims with small calipers look funny to me.

what offset do i need. I am also considering 17 inch wheels.
Also is 18x7.5 a good size for 215/35 tires.
What size tires would be needed for 17 inch wheels.
One last thing, whould 215/35/18 be the same diameter as the stock wheels and tires, or do i need to get my speedometer corrected

215/35 18 will bring it as close as its gonna get to stock
17's would be 205/40 17 or i have ran 215/40 17 without any problems
18x7.5 would work fine too

With that setup you will be 1.26 MPH over what your speedometer reads. For example, if the speedo says 65, you will be going 66.26MPH. So you are relatively close.
