Default What is this piece called?
Hey all, first time on this board first time with a Neon. I was changing the carpet and as I was removing the console I broke this piece off can anyone tell me the name of it so I can order it. It's a little black piece that is attached to the automatic gear shifter.

looks like the shifter linkage from the pic...but i dont know

looks like the shift cable to me, thats kind of important...

its either the shifter cable or its the brake switch that will let you shift out of park.
