Default Tire question

Hey guys my tires on my Neon are crap lol. i mean they still have plenty of tread and such but they are the el cheapo's and they handle like crap and have no traction in the rain. what would be a good set of tires to buy when they finally need replacing. I dont want anything like Toyo's or Yokohama's or anything. I'm looking more at Goodyears or Firestone or Michilean(sp) or something. any ideas on which ones would be better? I'm also thinking about going back to a wider tread like our old tires were that gave it a nice stance and lasted a very long time. what do you guys think? should i just keep the normal tread or go and get a little bit wider tread?

Get some 15" second gen rims and Falken tires. You won't be sorry. Goodyear RSA's are a good buy also.

I have Goodyear Regatta 2's on mine. They have good life, reasonably low highway noise, sufficient performance and decent price.

I have these on my WRX and I must say, they are the best I have ever owned. They don't come in 14's though, so it would only apply if you upped to 15's like das said.

yea i'm wanting to keep the rims stock (This car is my baby so i dont really want to mod her or anything at all..just trying to keep her stock from the factory). does anyone know what size rims came on the 95 Neon Highline with the bubble hub caps? i never checked it out but i guess i could always go out there with a tape ruler and get the size though lol...

I found these two tires what do you all think also would the 195/60 fit on a stock Neon's steel rims?

Are the firestone even made for passenger cars? lol... it looks almost more like for trucks.
