well i got my blue r/t stripped down and gone this was all that was left, but the junk yard guy came and picked it up yesterday

Damn, looks like she's ready for a paintjob...! Was it just the shell left?

 

the shell, front and rear windshields, and the tie bars for the rear suspension(only since i couldnt get them off), oh and the carpet and the heater box assembly....otherwise it is good and bare.....i hated to see it go, but now the garage has an 87 benz to fill up the hole.....and once thats sold, i will finally have the room for the 3000gt vr4 that i have been waiting to get.....too much **** and no place for it...now that all the parts from this car are either all over the garage or in the basement...ugh!!

there was a small wiring short sumwhere and i didnt feel like messing with it...and it was time for a new project..
the cops around here know the car anyways and whenever it got moved they would keep an eye on me to try and get me a ticket..they hate this car....

besides, between me and the wife we have a red 98 neon r/t, 98 rango, 94 cherokee, 99 neon sport, and a 87 benz.....
just too many vehicles and we need to downsize a little...plus i want my 3000gt vr4

anyways, i was just kinda getting tired of it...i want a project car that will be worth putting money and time into...sumthing that will have a good resale value....since i could go and invest like $15,000 in that car and only be able to sell it for like 7,000...if that
i think i want an old car to work on...if i dont get the 3000gt then i think im gonna go for a 68-69 dart swinger, or a 1980 dodge aspen wagon....but who knows

 

ahhh ic yea the 3000GT would be awesome. we used to have an Aspen wagon and i loved it till the rear axle broke and we got rid of it.

 

a buddy of mine used to have a 1980 aspen wagon that my step dad gave him for his first car, it was awsome, no floor carpet, no radio, no center console, windshield wipers didnt work, bright lights didnt work, and the front seats werent completely bolted in....it was a great car until he was making a left turn in a parking lot and sum guy decided to pass him on the left and ripped off the front end....but now that cars been sitting at this guys house waiting to get a 340 with a 4 speed and posi put in it, but he said that i could get it off him if i wanted it.......but i think that i would rather have a car that has the potential to spin 4 tires down the street....sounds like more fun, plus it would be more of a challenge, neons are the only thing that ive worked on for the past 5 years since i turned 16 and got my first one.....i love neons to death but i need a really bad *** car...i get so many people to mess with me when im driving my neon, which is fun, but i want sumthing that people wouldnt even consider messing with me while im driving.....besides a need to expand my vehicle knowledge, i know most of what is needed to rip apart a neon and fix them, but i have a 98 rango that i know nothing about(took me 2 days to change the water pump)...and i am gettin tired of it, and cars in general...and i miss my blue r/t...i have alot of memories in that car,including some insane trips to chryslers at carlisle..which its a good idea i got rid of the car, because since the last trip to carlisle in 2003, i wouldnt trust taking the car outta town
