street racing is the stupidest thing in the world.

take it to the track and do it right.

racing at the strip is pointless to me...all street

 

racing on the streets just indangers innocent people. if your going 100mph down some road and some body turns in front of you, thats it. Its the most irresponsible thing any driver could do imho.

 

Even if you dont race its funny to see if people will back down
One time some smart *** kid pulled up to me in his honda with a coffee can [sm=badidea.gif]
we punched it at the lights and the kid **** his pants and turned off at the
next avilable road[sm=escape.gif], I laughed the whole way home[sm=icon_rofl.gif]

 

it is irresponsible.....if you dont take caution..

me and my buddies had a length of road marked out to a 1/4 mile....no side roads, no hills, no houses....
worked great.....better to say meet me there in 5 minuites, then meet me at the track when we have the money and time to go

 

I do agree on the convience factor. The biggest thing for you spud is you take responsibility for it, like marking it out and doing it where no one can wonder on the road. Alot of people will not do that, and will see any stop light as the tree at a drag strip.

There are so many factors. What if Joe Honda is racing, snaps an axle when he shifts from second gear and has a limited slip. He will go directly into whatever is on the side of the road, be it a buisness another car, or worse someone.

If your gonna do it, then I would say do it on an empty highway where there is just a ditch on either side.

 

Im not saying I go out and look for someone to race
but when I have raced they were the ones that aniciated it,
and im not about to get punked by some kid in a honda
or some guy that thinks his car is fast becuse it cost $20,000

 

your not getting punked if you dont race. You just make him look like a retard for taking off and racing with himself down the street.
