Default motor problems!!!!!!!!

ok heres the deal. i let my car (it a project car) sit for two weeks. wen i went back it barely ran and i had to peddle the gas to make it run. it also wont rev past about 3500 rpms, when it gets that high it feels like a rev limiter.. i fooled with the cam sensor and it ran normal again, my friend pulled the throttle body open and it ran till red line. but only for a few seconds. so i replace the sensor and still have the same proble. any ideas on what to do. PLEASE HELP!

Is your car throwing any codes?

Have you checked your map sensor - I had a similiar issue of my neon not idleing and not getting over 3500 RPM

you have to do this with in 5 sec of putting the key in. turn key to "on"-right before start, "off"-one click back, on, off, on. wait and the light WILL flash. FLASH pause FLASH..FLASH is code 12, batt discon in last 50 starts. 50 is end of codes. it's almost 11pm where i live, get crack'N.
