better hope he doesn't live near by lol j/k don't those come in chrome too? and why the Dynomax system? I have the pacesetter, sounded good when I got it put on and better when I had the header and highflow added but as das has shown overtime the tips and muffler beginig to rote out, the 2.5 piping is doing good though I expected rust around the hanger area by now but it's doing good.

 

Is there anyway to prevent this horrible deterioration of the piping and muffler? Or is there another brand that you would reccommend. Its just that I like the way that the Vibrant Dual looks... and sounds.... and I haven't really seen any other dual exhaust that just bolts up... Any reccommendations?

 

good question, I WD-40 my tips twice a week, I don't think there is really a way to prevent the rust, from the inside anyways. that's probably why a lot of people go with stainless steal has rust protection.

 

No way to prevent rust from the inside and that's where the main problem is. Condensation kills the muffler.

I say Dynomax because it has proven to be a great muffler. You can keep the pacesetter piping as it should be ok for awhile longer.

 

aerospeed and one other company make an exhaust that looks exactly like the vibrant.....check out jcwhittney.com they should have pics of them.....

i like the stainless steel because it looks real good all cleaned up nice...but my vibrant has rust forming on it
