RE: -Dirt Track Racing-
AT THE 2 TRACKS I RACE AT, NEITHER ALLOW ANY KIND OF STAGGER. A 60 SERIES IS THE WIDEST WE CAN USE. ALL 4 TIRES MUST BE THE SAME.
I ALSO RUN IN THIRD, I HITS THE REV LIMITER, JUST AS I ENTER THE CORNER & SLOW FOR THE TURN ANYWAY. BUT IM ONLY OUT OF THE THROTTLE FOR A SECOND, THEN HAMMER DOWN!
ONE THING U SHOULD STOCK UP ON IS RIGHT FRONT SUSPENSION ASSEMBLIES.

I would ask first...because if they consider it a stock part then I would get a 01 magnum cam . Hey it's still stock!!!

I don't want to start an argument with you, but the 1995 SOHC cam is currently also a Mopar Performance Parts part. I don't know what the dirt track rules are. Obviously you could make a case that you are using a stock part.

RE: -Dirt Track Racing-
track i race at the SOHC cars run way at the back, the DOHC neons run up front pretty good, but we all had engine problems this year
but yea reverse stagger, the left rear tire should hang about 6" off on corner entry and u got it pretty good, dont get carried away with to much stagger in the front, it might be faster in the corner but the diff. will be cooked within 2 races
rear stagger put alot in, both right side struts bend alot, ive 6 rear strust this year and the front once, i got away with using a smaller bolt in the top hole where hte spindle bolts to the strut to add camber, but make a shim or somethin to shove in behind it or oval the hole in the strut & weld a washer on to keep it in place, , paint evrything flat black under the hood and spray bomb undercoat the welded struts with some dirt in it before it dries
& it all dissappears from the tech guys keep you car lookin like a heap of **** & they dont suspect a thing

RE: -Dirt Track Racing-
anoither tip for dirt, get two K&N filters, use one for hotlaps / qulifying & the heat race, use the 2nd clean one for the feature, mines always plugged up by the feature so i got 2, last race of the year my engine was hammerin i just took it out & let it suck dirt
'01 magnum cam is stock, and it has the chrystler stamp on it, good idea for the SOHC
does anyone know if any DOHC R/T's came with a header stock??? the one i got my transmission out of had a header on it... that surely would beat the cracked manifold i have,

I have to run the single cam motor. And yes....we have to run the same size tire all around too, but I can "grow" one out pretty easily (blow it up to 80 psi, and let it sit in the hot sun for a day or two). Whats the talk about headers??? Some Magnum's came with headers?
