i read on the internet that the 95 neons came with sway bars...

is this true?

do i have a sway bar already installed?!

 

Never heard of that, do you have a bar going between the strut towers?

 

i dont recall hearing of very many neons at all that didnt come with sway bars.......at least front ones....rear are options........

are you thinking of strut bars or strut braces????

sway bars are underneath the car....fronts connect the lower control arms to the cross member...rears connect the bottom of the struts to the underneath of the car.....

strut bars/braces mount to the top of the struts and connect eachother....front would just be under the hood and rear would be in the trunk

 

That would be a strut bar, not a sway bar.

And NO, not all 95's came with sway bars. They come on some Sport Coupes, and all ACR's & R/T's.

all newer cars come with a sway bar, lol, I am assuming he meant strut bar. Call me crazy but find me a neon without a sway bar.

 

thats what i was sayin.....atlest try to find one without a front one.....my wifes didnt have a rear...though most do

 

yeah they are weak and upgrading is great for handling.

 

None of the 3 neons I have owned, had a sway bar.

 

front rear or both????
