what is the advantage of this.
If you are referring to the cam gear, then it's great for tuning and engine with an aftermarket cam. You can retard or advcance timing as needed.

hey i have a question for you guys with a stock cam but with a mopar pcm is it ok to advance the timeing with the cam gear or because of the pcm no like this for an example i advane the timeing 3 degress the pcm already advanceit by 2 so does that mean its advanced by 5. do you guys kinda know what im trying to say here

I'm not exactly sure what these things do, but I'm assuming the cam gear advances/retards your cam timing, where your programmer will adjust your spark timing.... Correct me if I'm wrong!!!
