Default question and a lesson

i put my short shifter in......

but my radio isn't working now since i reconnected the battery......

i changed the side fuse and it didnt change anything

so is it hte fuse behind the head unit?
how do i get behind it to change it?
and is it the same size as the one on the side?

my lesson...
i went out to race my friends to see how much faster hteir cars were...
later 1st gen dohc neon-aem intake, 52mm tb, magna flow exhaust, b&m short shifter
90's buick regal- supercharged with over 220hp
me with my sohc with a muffer and short shifter

i lost all 3 times
the first time becuase i didnt know we were launching
the second time, when i shifted to 3rd, the rpms went all the way down to around 45...?
then the third time i was about a half car lengths behind the dohc WHEN MY SRT-4 SHIFT **** POPED OFF GOIN INTO SECOND!
i think the third time i would have gotten 2nd...if it didnt **** up
we did it all 3 time at the same time in a wide empty road out by the storage buidings for safeway and stuff
the dohc won all 3 times
but he and i knew that if i put my tb and cai, it would have been a better race

so atleast i know the limits for my stock neon with the better air flow

here comes the mods...
and more wins...

The cai and TB will help, but try getting a Mopar PCM also.

Why not get a Pacesetter header on there while you're at it? They are cheap enough and work great for the SOHC.

The cat-back exhaust isn't, but the header is for SOHC neons.

Shouldn't take longer than an hour maybe two, so see what the labor rate is. It's super easy to install the header though.

do you have to take apart half the engine?

or just get underneath and take the header off of the engine and exhaust piping?
