anyone know if a 95 SOHC TB (ATX) is the same bore size as a 96 DOHC ATX throttle body?
or are they different

so would it be possible to take the throttle body off an ATX and put it in an MTX? Would that even do anything?

Yes you can and yes it will. It helps throttle response quite a bit.

already did that, its helps using the bigger ATX throttle body, i was just wondering if it was different from SOHC to DOHC besides the IAC & TPS needs to be changed to fit, theyre all interchangeable other than IAC & tps plug angle

how hard is it to change the TB throttle cable linkage thingy? lol cause i'm gonna swap my sisters ATX TB and put it in my car and put my MTX TB on her car... but mine has cruise control so it has 2 cables instead of the 1... so how do i change the ATX one to a 2 cable set up?

just change the bracket on the side then use the shaft from the other TB with 2 on the plastic deal, take the throttle plate out with the 2 screws, then take off the TPS and theres a snap ring under there to take off the end of the shaft, if you break it oh well - the plate will keep the shaft in place, if your putting the ATX on a MTX car use the MTX spring or its way too soft

i did that in the race car & couldnt control the throttle, it was too easy to push, but i also have to try to roll on the throttle easy around the corner on a really rough track & thats hard to do to begin with

Hey racerx55, Whats up?

Hey what all can you tell me about what size track that you run, how your car is set up & etc.
What all kind of mods do you have?
I have a 95 DOHC 5 Speed. Just had the Head shaved .010 Because blew head gasket. Put in a Centerforce clutch & Fidanaza Alum Flywheel. Got the Mopar ecm. Mine will outrun any car at our track until it hits the rev limiter at about 7500rpm. Do you run a rev limiter? If you want to chat in private my email is kcobra@direcpc.com Thanks Bryan
