Default Plymouth Vs. Dodge width...

Ok well i know the Dodge and Plymouths are basiclly all the same but are they? i went to go on a bike ride at a park today and i was going to be taking my sisters Dodge Neon... so i went to load my bike in it and it barely fit in the back seat...so i took it out and placed it in the backseat of my Plymouth Neon...and it fit perfectly... was there an interior width difference with the Plymouth and Dodge? and i've also relized that in my front doors between the outer metal and the window (inside the door) theres more room in my Plymouth than in my sisters Dodge...

all exactly the same.....
i have noticed that when i get into my wifes neon it feels like im more cramped and that it feels smaller.....but thet are both dodges and after i spend about 20 minuites adjusting the seat, i finally find the right spot alot of that is the seats though...mine being an r/t has the deeper buckets and her sport has kinda shallow bukets....besdes im like 6' 3" so its hard enough getting comfortable in these cars as it is

ok thats what i was thinking cause i know the Ply and the Dodges are all the same except for some colors and interior colors and badge but it still felt smaller (the Dodge lol) and i know what you mean Spud...when i was learning how to drive (legally) and i got into my sisters Neon and then to my Plymouth (5-speed) it was soo different...then i got adjusted and mine still seems bigger but oh well lol

some parts are actually diff. I was at advanced one day getting a belt for the car and the lady asked me did I have plymouth or dodge and I said I had a dodge and that all the parts are basically the same then she said that a lot are but there are some that are actually different, had something to do with a oil component if I remember correctly.

lol that's what I was thinking and what I wanted to tell her untill she gave this long drawn out explanation, My mechanic that worked for dodge told me the same thing but said basically it just came down to numbers and not the actual part itself.
