Default turbo line hookup

sumone know where to hook up the oil and coolant lines????
i know the return oil line goes into the oil pan, but i need to extend it a little because the srt-4 one wont reach....its about 2 inches too short.....but how do i hook up the oil TO line????

what about the cooling lines????
i found a spot in the back of the block that has a plug in it....i took out the plug and started leaking coolant all over.....so i am guessing thats one, though i need to do a little work on that because the srt-4 line reaches it, but the fitting on the line is too big....
but wheres the other one go????

Use the oil pressure sending switch...take out the switch and put a tee in there. Then hook up your new pressure sending unit to one port and hook the turbo's oil feed line to the other open port. The thread size in the block is 3/8 NPT.

You don't need them, but they are a good idea. You can tap into the threads on the back of the block for water feed and tee into the heatercore return hose.

you know, this would be a perfect opportunity to take step by step pics for the people who have questions on how to hook up turbo's. like where stuff goes and how to tap stuff and what not, would be a good how to item, just a thought

any of them will fit, they are all the same...mine came from a 2005...
the only thing i noticed was that most of the ones on ebay dont come with the o2 housing.....which is harder to find then the turbo itself....and almost as pricey.....so try to get one with the housing included......thats why im glad i got the one i did, plus it has the mopar BOV...

another hint for anyone wanting to get an srt4 turbo.....NEVER BUY ONE THAT HAS HAD THE TURBO DISCONNECTED FROM THE MANIFOLD....ASK THE SELLER IF IT HAS BEEN, THEN IF IT HAS, DONT WASTE THE MONEY ON IT...MOVE ONTO ANOTHER THAT HASNT....just fyi

Just a suggestion, take pictures of everything needed before install and a parts list.

why would it be a waste of money if the turbo was disconnected from the mani? a leak issue perhaps?

i figured you would ask
the srt turbo is designed as one unit (turbo/manifold)....if you disconnect the two, it is almost impossible to get them to seal back together right.....the way they clamp together is not designed to be removed....kinda a once assembled, stay assembled thing
