sohc to dohc done but.....
ok, the guy that sold me the car told me that theres a 96 dohc harness in there already. I cant believe the problems that I found after I started tearing into the engine bay. Coolant sensor brokem off, tranny sensor(sensor under the fuse box that goes into the tranny) broken off, front motor mount hanging on by 1 bolt. the bell housing broken right where the other two bolts the the front motor mount would connect to is broken off. the suspension is gone, the coil pack is missing a screw and the valve cove has a few different screws in it that dont even screw down tight. I really should drive the car throug the guys living room but I always look to the brighter side. I could have paid for the engine alone or the shell alone for the same price I bought the car for. I just wish he didnt lie to me about all of the problems.
either way, thanks for all the help guys. I got another cpu in from a 96 dohc mtx (so the junk says). seems to be running alot better. no back firing coming from the intake mani and no hesitation when I step on the gas. I'm hoping to start a thread dedicated to the turbo build.

yeah, it should be cool. whenever I go to work on the car I will have someone there to take pics. might even squeeze a video or 2 in. As I was starting to get into the modding thing, I saw a lack of clear, detailed instructions on things that I thought where real interesting, let alone important. Either way, it should be a fun experience.
