Default No brake lights, No turn signal in rear

Hi,
I'm new to the board, and need some help. My 95 neon has no brake lights and no turn signal in the rear. The turn signal indicater dash light flashes really fast on the left. The bulbs are good, the fuses are good and the brake pedal switch tests ok.......????? Any ideas???
Thanx HoosierBaby

Did you replace the bulbs? If so, then you may have to have a look at the wiring.

pull up the carpet in the trunk and look around for a ground wire bolted down on the drivers side, i assume youve checked fuses already?

yes fuses have been checked and are ok. I went out a little while ago and magically I now have right brake lights and right rear turnsignal. No power is getting to the left rear socket.

another thing to you might want to try : put your turn signal on, then wiggle the hazards switch, alot of the times that unit needs to be replaced so if your turn signals stop working while you wiggle the hazards switch thats more than likely your problem. the hazards and turn signal switch is the same unit. on my car its kinda the same problem i need to switch it out cuz they dont always work, then i wiggle the hazards an bam there back on try that and lemme know if it helped
