i was drivng along doing like 65-70
and the speed/tach/gas and temp **** went dead then back
my neon is dying :'(

mine did that a couple of weeks ago...went out and then came right back on...just like it resetted itself... how many miles does your Neon have on it? mine has 238,xxx but by the end of the day its gonna have 239,000
this is a semi related problem but on a car that isnt a dodge product. my friend recently told me her odometer stopped working. the rest of the instrument panel works. any idea what would cause that? Im probably not going to attempt to fix it but ive never seen the inside of one of those things and have no idea how they work. just curious.

^^^A gear might have broke off in the cluster. On my wife's 2000 Sebring, here trip odometer doesn't work because the little plastic gears broke a few teeth.
