just the man i was thinking about
stereo hook up probably this monday not sure of the exact wattage of the amp but im going by 500w rms with a couple of MA subs runnin on 2 ohms so im trying to think of how safe my system will be running the stock alternator and non optiima battery gimme about 5 hours and ill have the exact specs on the amp. oh and kinda off topic but say i have neon lights interior and exterior but i ran the power wires to my fuse panel
so is it pulling more amps or how do i figure that crap

your stock alt. and battery can handle a big stereo....it is a good idea to have the cap though....and neon lights usually pull less then 1amp...so you could actually leave your neon lights on all nite and not worry about the car not starting in the morning![Wink](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
i ran a 3400 watt stereo at .33 ohms for a little over a year on the stock alt., 2 capacitors, and a farm and fleet battery with no problems at all...then i got an optime battery and it helped that much more
