3.0 CAI... now what?
ok, first off i will tell you that i am a chevrolet 4x4 man and no next to nothin about what to do with a 2.0l motor. I just got a DD a 97' dohc 4 door plymouth neon for $500. with the three speed auto. It burns a lil oil but i think its just the back cam cover and oil is burnin off of the block. I wanna make this thing fast but keep it cheap. I got the tube for the 3.0 intake at the junkyard today and just need to buy a filter. Can you give me some part numbers for the filter and tell me exactly where to put it with out relocating the battery. The car has four different tires on it with the stock steelies. I'd like to swap on some srt-4 snowflakes but i have to keep it cheap... ok so what other performance mods can i make/do real cheap to get some more power outta this thing. For the turbo what all will i need and what will i use that i already have? just try to help me out. the picture was the one in the add before i bought it.. so since then i took off the hubcaps de-badged and will de-mold it tommorow. also the mudflaps and the front licence tag mounting plate is gone.

RE: 3.0 CAI... now what?
Read THIS first and then start asking questions, if you have any. I listed the part numbers for the filters in a recent post for the 3.0 intake. You do not need to relocate the battery, just trim the lower left part of the battery tray (if you are standing at the front of the car). You can get the SRT rims for about $200 but you can't use the tires. THIS is a good site for the ATX...read up!
