what hes talkin about is if you open all your doors and your looking at the seat from the outside on the bottom right side of the door jam there are 2 black push pins the top is for the dome light and the bottom makes that annoying beeping when u leave the key in acc and have the door open. now unscrew each top push pin one at a time and then put it back in. after each door see if it worked to stop the flickering. why do this? well what happened with one of my push pins....the drivers door....it had a bad or loose ground and the dome light wouldnt come on all the time when i would get in or out. so i just un screwed it then put it back in and now it works like a champ. oh and to by pass it you dont have to tape it down. just take out the screw that holds it in. it wont fall out but...it wont be grounded therefore not working no more flickers or annoying acc key reminder beep gl and lets us know if anything worked
it depends first you have to find it there not all in the same place in example : 1986 mustangs...there push pin is near the door hinges...so first you have to find it then it should be held down with a cross tip ( philips ) head screw. but no guarantees
