well seeing how im getting a set of the reverse gauges for christmas i figured id invert the colors on mine make the black backround white

what the hell why not lol
here is a pic of the tape job so everything taped will have a black backround and all the exposed black is gonna be white
tell me what you think ima go paint while you guys post then ill post a finished pic hehe

If you paint it, you won't be able to see it when you put the gauge overlay on.

 

i know but i wont get the gauge overlay until the end of december so ill have white and black gauges for now lol

second coat is already on apparently dish soap and windex doesn't stop the lil fish eye spots from opening up so more coats than i thought

 

new pics fresh paint i know its shotty but i didnt care how it turned out lol other wise i would have spent like a day taping it lol (exacto knifing the actual markings not just around them)

i woulda been more picky on the tape job, but im used to taping up trucks and semi trailers to paint at work, the stuff we do is brand new so we have to be picky
i like the white, i thought about doing mine but was kinda unsure of how it would turn out
i guess i have 2 extra clusters incase i dont like it

 

and in the original post it says im getting reverse glows hence y i wasnt picky
