i will get up alot of pics tomorrow...hopefully.....i just kinda figured that today was just normal work and nothing special worth getting pics of....

i would be having more fun if i didnt have to replace the tranny....but there is only so much i can do right now without it...

tomorrow i will try to get the turbo mounted as well as most of the exhaust and maybe the p&p intake manifold......but i dont wanna push it since i cant start until about 3:00pm when i get off of work....

im not sure what the boost is gonna be...im gonna try to do about 7 but the motor has just over 150,000 miles on so i have to play it safe until i get one of my other motors built[:@]

 

well i got some more pics today.......i chopped up some more of the metal bumper to fit around the intercooler.....mounted the turbo......and put in the spark NGK iridiums.....plus we test fitted the front bumper cover, i thought i was gonna have to chop it up too, but it fits real good, i just have to cut the mountig tabs off it that hook the the bottom of the metal bumper

i got the tranny today, so tomorrow im gonna put it in along with the new clutch, then try to start putting the engine back together

i thought there was gonna be a little more room between the turbo and the firewall then there was.....but i think there is maybe 1/4in.

yeah its getting there but since i only have about 3-4 hours a day to work on it, its gonna take a little time....

i have to lower the drivers side of the intercooler.....i noticed that it looks a little higher over there....but it isnt bad for ligning it up by site[&:]

 

ok i got some more work done today......
i put in the new clutch...tranny...tapped into the oil pan so that i can install tomorrow....and put in the srt4 shift ****

I thought it was a 6-speed transmission?

 

where would a 6speed com into play?

 

The shift **** looks like it's for a 5-spd.

 

it is only a 5 speed

i had the shift **** on my car too if you remember!

you should do something with the shift boot though
polish the shift lever and bring the boot down

i thought it looked good when i had it like that!

 

what stage clutch did you buy? i have a stage 2 and mine is orange...
