99 mtx r/t upgrades cat + intake
I bought one of those ebay ceramic coated exhaust headers for my 99 dohc r/t. It was supposed to be direct bolt on, but of coarse, no. It ends up too long, so I'm going to have to somehow cut the pipe before my cat converter. I want to just remove the cat converter but then id have the problems with the down stream o2 sensor screwing with my computer. Would the sensor cause that much trouble or would i only get a light on my dash come on. I've herd of that you can get simulators for the o2 sensor but haven't found any yet. As for the exhaust, iv read that the r/t already comes with a good exhaust, but I'm looking for something louder. Do the fart can mufflers perform well or would it be just the same with the sound.
Also, i purchased a Indy header and was wondering if I'll get a considerate amount of power from it. I have it bored out to 60mm matching my throttle body.

yea the indy is a intake not a header my bad...i got the indy intake and the 60mm throttle body for $420 so it was a bargain.. but if i remove the cat then only my computer light will come on then right? ... what do people usually use to make their CAI, would exhaust tubing work?

The Dynomax muffler looks stock and has a deep sound to it. The Indy intake, from what I have heard, is a PITA to install.
