i have now finally realized how stupid my wing looks. i dont mind the size of the wing...its the tall supports that look stupid to me. so now im thinking about getting the supports cut and then drilling new holes to make my wing look better. i just dont want to buy a paintable spoiler because of the price of the painting and i got my wing for a good price. and i cant really return it and i drilled holes in my trunk...

these are estimates of the change that would happen if i did this...done with paint

tell me what you think. does it look better? still look stupid? honest opinions are welcome.

take it off and just fill the holes back up, thats what i did.

 

i dont want to take it off though. i dont like the look of the bare trunk hood. id rather have something on it...my wing. i just dont like how big my wing looks because of the tall supports.

edit: what about a stock spoiler? Im sure they can be had for cheaper than you spent on your downforce drag increase, and not have people laugh at you

 

yea i had one of those on the back of my car...until heard ppl started saying i have an aluminum park bench attached to my trunk.[:@]

 

Mines not too big and its not a neon wing! i actually have no idea what car it came off of but its wittle!

 

i like that wing...thats hott

 

i personally think it still would look real bad.......maybe if the car had rims and a body kit then it would look ok, but not on a plain car...

i like the stock spoiler, especially if its moved just a little to where alot of people dont notice the change

get a srt style wing because that wing really isn't working for the neon...it's more for a car that can make it to 300mph and take off with that big thing
