sohc or dohc?
i am planning on buying a srt turbo for my neon, its a 96 soch and it has 64k miles on it. i was wondering how much more it would cost to switch out my engine to a dohc...and would it be worth the money?.....and doesnt the dohc fit in pretty well?

but the money spent on a dohc head could be put towards better turbo management

but guys remember,
you can get a dohc head for almost the same price as the sohc-dohc adapter plate that you would have to get....i would drop in a dohc before i spent that much money on a plate

if your getting a srt4 tubo and your swapping the head
swap the pistons for sure

yea use the DOHC head with the SOHC pistons, your compression will be low, and youll be able to safely boost a little more,
i just tore my TSI talon apart, it has stock n/a bottom end with turbo topend (higher compression + boost), heres a picture of what happens with 7 psi on a 10:1 engine
