Tightening/adjusting the kickdown bamd is easy and simple and should help improve the shifting.

I agree with that totally but i am afraid with changing the fluids das2123. Should I be. My dad has a Caravan and we have had nothing but issue with that thing. Just scared I guess

There isn't much to changing the fluid. Loosen the bolts, drain the fluid, pull the pan off, clean it out, scrape off old gasket material, pull filter off, install new gasket and filter, tighten the bolts and add Mopar ATF+4 fluid.
