Default Help with disc removal

Hello!

I live in sweden and own a 98 neon. I need to replace the rear discs but i cant remove the old ones. It seems like the handbrake pads is to tight and i cant find the adjustment for the handbrakes. I have ordered a rapairmanual but i takes some time before i get it so i would be glad if anyone could help me with some hints.

Regards
Mats

There is an adjustor ,behind the backing plate ,.If you follow the e-brake cable you should find it easy.Try backing that off.( the e-brake has it's own pads)The last time I did my brakes I had to use a Hammer and a piece of 2x4 to get the disc off.You can spray it with a bit of wd40 or ? first, just make sure you get all of it off befor re-installing disks.
