Default Turbo SOHC

plz dont flame, i searched.

car - 95 SOHC ATX

Goals - 200 hp (to match my cavalier)
Budget - 2k

Plans

Garrett T25 Turbo (havent decided on the trim tho, probably gunna just use an SRT4 turbo)
Custom Manifold
HUGE FMIC
Walbro F/P
Cartech FMU
Bigger injectors (if necessary, hence why im asking)
PSI, not much more then 7-10
Autometer TruBoost gauge/bc
Turbo XS BOV

What else do you recommend?
ive designed and built a few of these kits (cavaliers/sunbirds/ CRX), so im no NEWB for turbos'
curious, what other f/i ppl are running for fueling, ECM, boost controllers ect

if you are going to run 7-10 psi on a stock bottom end, make sure it gets tuned properly so you wont throw a rod or blow piston rings. You may be well over 200whp though...my guess, probably in the 240-270 range. $2000 is a not a bad budget for what you're trying to do, depending on where you get all of your stuff at. check out ebay... and type in " neon turbo kit." there are a few good kits on there selling for 1000-1500. you might spend a few extra hundred dollars upgrading the fuel system though (ex. fuel rail, injectors, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator).

make sure to get the walbro external fuel pump.....
no larger the 2.5" intercooler piping

you also need a mapclamp
you need to add a retun line....and return line to the pump
you dont need the bigger injectors unless you are wanting more power then what you said

you might wanna pick up an AGP wastegate too....

$2,000 isnt bad for a turbo kit depending on what way you want to go.....the srt kit for me has come to about 1500

You would need an adapter plate that costs about $220 shipped to get the SRT-4 turbo/manifols to bolt up to the SOHC head.

Technically yes since they lower compression a bit.
