dont be scared, crank the boost, just keep the air/fuel ratio at a safe 11:1 and dont let the EGT's get too high
whats your compression ratio?(before boost)

i had a mbc on there for the second run, but it created a boost leak and my guage just zero'd out, couldnt tell what boost i was at and ran a horrible 15.4 or something at 94mph with it, then the 3rd run i took it off but didnt swap totally back to my original vaccum lines, still had the leak and ran a 15.7 at 89mph, replaced everything back to the way it was on the first run and ran the 14.7.
afr's were in the 11.8 range on the last run, dipping into a 12.0 at the top end according to my datalogs. i am buying a boost leak tester to check my "nice" welding job on my intercooler piping, i think i may have a pinhole leak there somewhere. car was capable of a low 14 on the 4psi, but we will never know cause i am going for broke next race and tuning for 8 on 93 pump, and 10 on 110 race.
i actually had to drive the car, big step up from a 16 second car that could drive itself lol. i lost 2 seconds on 4psi, and hopefully will lose another 2 on the other 4psi, but who knows.

your AFR's are a little on the lean side for boosting, it kills a couple HP but saves your engine bigtime when you stay 11.0:1. if your EGT's stay within reason and you have zero detonation i guess your ok with 11.8, but thats really pushin it.
