13x8 rims with Mickey T's will give you good traction.

 

going to use m and h slicks (since they are a sponsor of the site and gives us a discount) once i get the bottom end done this winter. hoping to hit the 400whp mark next year with turbo alone, if not, time for some juice.

september 8th is my next day to drag, so i will test out the new rubber then. everyone is saying that with my car weighing in at 2250, and 266whp, i should be over the 110mph mark on street tires. closest i have been is 107 so far. sure wish i could hit the 110 by the end of the season. last race if i dont hit it by then, i am going for broke and turning it up to 10psi.

 

If 10psi doesnt work... Blow **** up! Run 15psi for a run. (assuming its the end of the season)

still daily driving it to work ect. she is a tired motor tho, just hit 157k on it. started losing the rear main, but all is good, the motor is getting rebuilt this summer and will go into the new black car. hoping for a 10 second pass with the black car, but it will not be ready til the '09 season. taking the entire 08 year and building this car from the ground up. chassis will be certified for 8.50's, then i get to focus on getting the power levels in order to run those times.

plan is to get the black car with the chassis down to around 1700 pounds loaded, realisticly, i am shooting for 1800.
