isnt the mtx the computer for the manual. and the atx is the computer for automatic. and what would the part look like if i got it off a car fro the junkyard?were would it be too.

thanks, so it really doenst matter that the part was made for a auto, can someone explain it to me sorry. im new to everything on cars.(not rreally jst mods)

 

The TB on the automatic neons (ATX) is 52 mm wide as opposed to the MTX's 49mm TB. It allows your engine to rev quicker.

be sure to change the throttle position sensor from your manual tb tho or the car will not run right. the sensor is located at the end of the butterfly shaft, little black sensor flat, not round. held on with 2 hex bolts.
