Do you want a header or just a replacement exhaust manifold?

just a thought, but if you have any experience welding or if you took the project to a welder ( fabricator, whatever) i think you will find a much more exact, for your specific use, header on headersbyedd.com. you dont buy the headers from them, instead you tell them your engine, your most common rpm range used, any mods on the car and they make a blue print just for you. i know it sounds expensive and like its a lot of work, but for what you get it really is worth it. i dont have them on my neon but my dad runs a 1950 ford at the drags and that is what he did. the problem with after market headers is that they produce them to appeal to they average joe who doesnt want to have to wrestle with any inconvienances so they produce short, fat tubed headers that work better than stock but not nearly as well as a nice set of custom headers designed for your specific use.

any mods on the car and they make a blue print just for you.
What if you add mods later on....then what?

Modern Performance actually tests the parts and drive the cars they sell products for.
