im sure it that its not hurting anything but gas mileage and maybeidle response.... but i wish someone who has had this problem had found a way to fix it.

mine use to rev up and stay reved up but the computer was messed up andi had to get a new one but mine still revs to about 1100 sometime istead of dropping all the way down to normal
