Tire Siping
Anybody ever heard or done this? I did a little research on the internet and found a bunch of companies that offer it, but can't find any people that have had it done. It looks like it would be worth it if it doesn't cost too much. Heres a link if you have never heard of it. There is a video to click on at the bottom. http://www.kaltire.com/retail/services/siping.php#
Seems to help traction, keeps my tires from spinning somehow. I really didn't care for it at first because I had doubts about putting cuts into my tires, but the tire dealer didn't charge me anything when I got my tires replaced. So, I went with it. I think they charge around $45 on top of the price of the tires.

Maybe I'll sipe my used tires and have a good set for the summer. I have to drive through the snow to get to work, but it's only for two months out of the year usually. Then I won't shorten the life span of new tires. Thanks for the info guys.
