i have blown my motor i have a 96 neon mtx so fare i have removed the battery and trey radiator a/c pump ignition coil in take spark plug wires and have un bolted the power steering punp but what ealse do i need to do please help

 

Intake/exhaust manifolds and motor mounts.

 

all depends if you are gonna take out the tranny with it.....
if the tranny is gonna stay in the car, you will need to unbolt the tranny, remove the starter, unbolt the exhaust manifold flange, all motor mounts, disconnect the power steering lines, remove wire harness...

basically, take a few pictures of your engine as it sits now incase you forget where sumthing goes.....then just start unbolting anything that you can see......take of the intake manifold too, this will give you lots of extra room

 

ok i got some instrucions from this web site it **** my consern is like the fuil lines and what is connecting to the wire harness i have the o2 sencer the battery cable that go's to the starter the coil the fan and thats just of the top of my head what ealse am i missing

 

fuel line is easy......just squeeze the two clips where the plastic line connects to the metal line by the back of the motor.....just make sure to release the pressure first from the valve on the front of the fuel rail....

i dont exactly understand what your saying about the wire harness[&:]

 

on the wire harness what do i have to unclip is it like two or thee things or do i have to fish for 9 or 10 clips

 

all depends on how you wanna do it.....you could unclip about 50 clips or just unclip the harnesses from thePCM and PDC....and then just the 02 sensors and the tranny sensors

 

oooooooo thank god sud you rock i was thinking that i would ave to un hook like 100 things so your saying just the compuer and the fuse box

 

Thats a quicker way to do it.

 

you guys rock this is going to be a little easyer now if i dont have any thing to lift the motor out how much work ould it be to take the head off and will it make it lighter to take out
