Default 98 neon injection to carburetor convertion

Four months ago we pulled a 98 Neon Motor, stripped it, a rebuilt it, all for a prototype cycle we are building. See photos. At the time we pulled the entire wiring harness from the car and modified the original fuse boxes and brain into two components. Are problems started there, we have eliminated the O2 sensors, while all other sensors remain intact, the injection system does not function. It will turn over with limited spark. Fuel pump hasd been replaced with an MSD unit. We would love advise or links to convert the entire engine over to carbureted unit with electronic ignition? Please advise! And let us know what you think of the bike! BrickWurX Mfg.

The Tomahawk Concept vehical with an srt10 motor has 9 brothers. Cost was over $400,000 each and are NOT street legal. Technically, the motor was so heavy, the bike reqired four tires, making it a very thin automobile! Upside, power! lots of it, downside, not practical, nor user freindly. The SideWider Was also a Prototype Truck based on a Srt10 motor, however the name was adapted due to the fact ourconcept has front and rear single sided swingarms, along with airride suspension. There is no kickstand, its sits on its belly until the rider is ready togo. While the Tomahawk pushes upwards of 500 horses, we did manage to squeeze about 290HP out of the DOHC Neon motor! Make it ome of the lightest and most powerful STREET LEGAL bikes on the market today! About four times as strong as a standard Harley-Davidson! Thanks for the info, hopefully we can get that feedback on the conversion!

get ahold of msd and get a crank triggar system. that will get u ur timing. this engine is electronicly timed so no distributor and thats what the crank triggar system is for. as for the carb. the inlet on intake manifold (stock) is pretty small to be fitting a carb. too, but i guess they did it back in the early 90's and the 80's so why not, and if have any welding skills ( or rather a lot of skill) u can make ur own carburator adapter. thats where i think u'll run into a big missing link. making that piece is probably the only way to get it. well good luck and i hope i helped!
