Not nessisarly nessisary.
So Im looking to get rid of anything in the engine compartment that isnt nessisary for the motor to run, With HEAT. Has anyone delt with a EGR blockoff? What about PVC, What other things can be removed to prevent unsessiary problems. I want to have Motor under my hood, so if something goes wrong, its easyer to pinpoint. It may sound like a lame idea, but With less electrical bobble Things are easyer to diagnose.
Yea..block off the egr, car will run cleaner, but your check engine light will stay on, unless you can trick it with resister or something. Another thing you can do is remove your old air intake tube, and get a cai. Then you will have easy access to your headers, alternator adjustment, etc..etc.. you can also take off the weatherstripping that just slides on by the bottom of windshield...all I can think of for now..gl

Isnt The EGR blcokoff Blocking off two holes? One in the back, And one in the throttle body? Ive seen a penny used on one of the holes, And the other was A piece of aluminum with the stock gasket. Asfor the PVC has anyone heard or seen this done?
My friend That races circle track took his PVC PCV or PBS whatever it is, out. And I dont see him much anymore to ask what it does, what benifits he gets from it, Any ideas?
