all the wires that connect to the coil pack. follow them back as far as you can maybe get a wiring diagram and see where they end up may be the eaisest way

First of all when you do the ignition on-off-on-off-on you should be getting at least code 55 which tells you the pcm is finished the code check mode. When cranking you should be getting +12 battery on the center pin of the coil, the pcm alternately grounds the two outer pins to produce spark.

To test the coil use an ohm meter set on a low scale the three pin connector should read 0.45 – 0.65 ohm from the center pin to each outer pin. For the high voltage side set the meter on a higher scale it should read 7000 – 15,800 ohms from terminals 1 – 4 and from terminals 2 – 3.

Sorry, your right he did say he tested the coil pack, The two outer pins on the coil connect directly to the PCM. Everything else seems to check out, I would normally suspect the crankshaft sensor but, he said that tested good as well. The fact that the PCM not giving the 55 code does point towards a bad PCM . You said you tried a junk yard PCM, did it give the 55 code? Also did you try the original PCM again after it had been disconnected (reset)? You could, try an external code reader on the OBDII connector under the dash. Just a thought.

Mine did the same thing, I tested everything you could ,but itwould not start. Tested spark, fuel preassure, fuses, fuel pump, lines . The last thing I did was change crankshaft sensor and it worked. No way to test this sensor to see if it's good. That's exactly what happens when that sensor goes bad it doesn't start.
