The car is arepo, soI don't know what lead up to this, but now the car will not start
turns over, Fule pump is working, not getting any spark from. I Checked power to the coil pack, it's good, checked the crank sensor, it too it fine and is sending the 5volt signal for the spark and injectors.. butI am not getting the spark pulse at the coil... The timing belt is intact..

I tried a junk yard PCM, but no luck..


Any ideas?

Are you getting 49psi fuel pressure at the fuel rail? Just because you hear the fuel pump priming doesn't mean it's getting enough fuel.

Are you getting any CEL codes?

 

No CEL codes...
IfIdo the Key on/off procedure, the light just comes on and goes off like normal

I have not checked to fuel pressure, but that doesn't explain my lack of spark

How doI check the fuel pressure at the rail? CanI use a tire pressure gauge?

When you check for codes, you should get at least a Code 55. You check fuel pressure at the port on the fuel rail with a fuel pressure gauge.

 

SO, in reguard to the lack of spark.. SinceI getNO codes from the pcm, do you think my problem lies there? I'll pick up a fuel pressure guage today, and check that whenI get a chance.

What are the odds that a DOHC PCM will work with my SOCH?

A DOHC PCM will work, but will cause you to run a little rich.

Does the car crank and not turn over or does it not crank at all?

 

no the PCMs are not interchangable, I say this to all that get no spark as it cost me a $120 tow bill, check the 20 amp fuse for the fule pump on the block under the hood, I know you said you hear the pump but I thought I could to, and i racked my brain for ever and it turned out to be a stupid 1cent fuse that as it turns out will shut down the ignition system, it will turn over but not fire as it WILL NOT have any spark....and if that's it, it's a cheaper fix than most, good luck

 

I checked all of the fuses...
The engine turns over whenI turn the key, but it will not run, AsI have no spark.

No, Not just a click.The starter engages and spins the flywheel, crank shaft in turn,rotates, as does the cam shaft.. The pistons go up and down,valves open and close, injectors fire, I get fuel and air into the cylinder, butI lack spark, so the eingine will not run.... I thoughtI made this clear in my first post..
