have a 96 neon sohc had to put a new engine and fuel pump into it.ran fine for a couple of days.then every time i step on the brake or put into reverse it would die also the fuel pump fuse keeps on blowing is there any suggestions to fix either of these problems?

 

Check the O2 sensor wiring. It may be grounding out and blowing the fuse. Also check your grounds.
