modular? non-modular?
what is the difference between the 2? i know when i replaced my clutch, it came in one whole part..looked like the flywheel was riveted to the clutch and pressure plate....so does that mean its modular or non?
also, i see a "high torque" clutch on modern performance fora pretty reasonable price... anyone know how much torque they are rated at? what about the pt clutch? think its good for about 200-275 hp?

all together is modular,,flywheel pressur plate and clutch seperate is non.i heard the pt clutch is good for about 300 to 325 hp my opinion is if u have to change clutches go with the pt one,,.
im not sure how much torque but its the clutch of choice for neon upgrades unless u wanna spend a **** load of money,,99.9% sureits modular,,alot of the guys aroundwhere i amr running pt clutches and do really well,,,,.

yes the modular is one piece....
with a non modular clutch you can separately replace the clutch components.......as a modular you just have to replace the whole thing
most newer neons have a modular...
95's are non modular
i have a non modular flywheel sitting in the garage that way if i find a good clutch for the right price, then i wont have to worry about what kind it is
i got a supposed stage 1 F1 clutch off of ebay for fairly cheap.....it hold real good and hasnt slipped at all yet

if you have a 95 which is non modular could you put in a modular clutch?

You can, it'll go right in, you just have to get an automatic flexplate (flywheel) to bolt it to, and the shorter flywheel bolts for the thinner plate. They bolt onto the auto flexplate just like a torque converter.
