Default modular? non-modular?

what is the difference between the 2? i know when i replaced my clutch, it came in one whole part..looked like the flywheel was riveted to the clutch and pressure plate....so does that mean its modular or non?

also, i see a "high torque" clutch on modern performance fora pretty reasonable price... anyone know how much torque they are rated at? what about the pt clutch? think its good for about 200-275 hp?

I wanna say they hold up to ~250 ft/lbs of torque, but I am not sure on that. And yes they are modular.

yes the modular is one piece....
with a non modular clutch you can separately replace the clutch components.......as a modular you just have to replace the whole thing

most newer neons have a modular...
95's are non modular
i have a non modular flywheel sitting in the garage that way if i find a good clutch for the right price, then i wont have to worry about what kind it is

i got a supposed stage 1 F1 clutch off of ebay for fairly cheap.....it hold real good and hasnt slipped at all yet

You can, it'll go right in, you just have to get an automatic flexplate (flywheel) to bolt it to, and the shorter flywheel bolts for the thinner plate. They bolt onto the auto flexplate just like a torque converter.
