Deleting oil

Default Deleting oil

Well my oil is delete-ing itself, AndI dont smell burnt oil, I dont have any "visible" leaks, Is it just deleting itself? lol "Delete" ctrl, alt, Delete! But seriously where is it goin, or should i ask how long should a quart last on a nice running machine??

min goes through about a quart a week i dont have any leaks myself i just assume its just burning off because of "blow by" i dont really know for sure its not uncommon

You probably have some leaky piston rings and your oil is blowing by and burning off. Watch your oil level.

I can generally tell when i need to put it in, cause the valve train makes alot of noise!

cheep way to find out. get oil die and put it in your oil. drive a round 1-3 days get a black light and look for die you wont miss it

cheap way is just forget about it and just add a quart a week or 1 every 2-3 tanks of gas

Pull your spark plug boots out, is there oil in there? Could be a valve cover gasket, could be intake, could be worn piston rings, bad valve guides, etc.
