I HAVE A QUESTION WHAT ALL IS NEEDED TO MAKE THE SRT-4 MOTOR SWAP INTO A 98 R/T AND WHERE CAN I PURCHASE ALL THESE
THINGS? ARE THERE WEBSITES YOU GUYS CAN REFER ME TO? OR STORES? I LIVE IN RAEFORD, NC AND I REALLY DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT THIS PLACE CAUSE I JUST MOVED HERE ALSO IM A NEW MEMBER OF THE DODGE SCENE. I CONVERTED FROM HONDA SO PLEASE HELP ME OUT. ALSO I HAVE A BUDDY SELLING ME HIS STOCK SRT WHEELS, WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS IF IT WILL BE A DIREST FIST TO MY 98 R/T OR DO I HAVE TO CUSTOM ANYTHING. is that statement about the wheels or motor?????

the motor needs a pretty decent amount of custom work done.......and if its about the rims, then i dont know if they will bolt right on or not

 

IM ASKING IF THE WHEELS WILL BE A DIRECT FIT. spudsterierYOU HAVE A SET ON YOUR CAR DI YOU HAVE TO CUSTOM ANYTHING TO MAKE THEM WORK.

Here are all the motors on ebay; the first one is the best because it comes with everything you need to put it in; the second one would cost alot to get all of the accessorys; and the third one im not sure what all it comes with. GOOD LUCK!!

but a 2.4 bottom end with srt internals and a 2.0 dohc with srt4 cams....would be VERY similar to the srt motor...and about half the price depending where u go to get your stuff

 

will the srt-4 rims be a directfit ona 98 RT or do i have to do custom work for it to fit.

 

If you read the 1st Gen FAQ's up top, you'd find your answer. Yes the wheels are a direct fit, but you can't use the stock tires on the 1st gen neon.
