Default annoying neon bogging prob

i have a 96 dodge neon sohc that ive had for bout 4 years i just changed the engine last year cause of a broken head? but ever sinceits had a bad bog problem. but it only happens when the engine is warm? when its cold it runs like a champ. and it only bogs when the pedal is fully pressed and you have to feather it to keep it from not boging.it doesnt die altho somtimes it drops below 1500 rpm any help and anwsers would be greatly apreciated thanx

mabey a timing problem? the engine that replaced the old one did they just replace the head or the whole thing?

no i replaced the entire engine at the time because the entire thing had lower miles. as of timing i dont know? how would i check that? i dont think theirs a cel for that is there? and the sensor maybe i heard of tps could cause the engine to do weird things buti really dont know could you tell me what sensors are capable of cause these problems? also their are no performance parts but a advanced auto muffler(cheap but sounds pretty good)

somewhere in the forums someone replaced the cat converter and it fixed it

The car should idle around ~1000 RPM's.

i cant recall the all the codes but i do know cylinders 1 and 4 are misfiring?il go get the car diagnost again. and about the idle it pudders around 1000 rpm but every few seconds putts down to 800 -500 range and goes back to 1000 and the cat i heard could be a problem but y would it run ok when the engine is cold and not warm?i somewat car literate but this just confuses me[:@]

Misfires, could be a number of things. But, its most likely spark plugs, wires, coil pack and then you start looking into other problems.

ok il change the wires and plugs. also i heard not using chamions plugs can cause problems is this true or just rumor? and the coil pack i recon is ok cause i put a msd coil on and it still ran the same. i took it off cuase it kep making auto shutoff relay turn the car off
