where do i find a rebuild kit for my 97 Neon. . . nothing special just piston rings. rod bearing. main bearings. oil pump water pump timing belt and idler arm. and gaskets at?

Theres some good stuff at howell automotive.
Partsdinosaur.com also has some fair prices, but dont buy the topline gaskets, they suck.
Ive rebuilt 2 engines from partdinosaur parts& evrythings held up just fine.

 

you can get the rod and main bearings off of modern performance....the rest you can get from auto zone or advace auto

justget the gasket kits from advance auto......they usually stock them....so u know what you are getting before you pay for it.

 

Yea definately go to advance or somewhere for gaskets. Fel pro MLS are just fine. I use fel-pro on evrything.
