The hardest part of the UDP installation is pulling the stock crank pulley off.

Installing the valve body is pretty simple.

yea u need that harmonic balancer puller thing-a-ma-jig......correct?? thats what i ran into when trying to take the block apart today....

ive got the puller thats needed and it works awsome..i use it all the time...kinda pricey though

that would be a good investment if i did alot of work.....just tryin to get the damn thing off! i think advance autorents them out....ill check it out though, wouldnt be a bad idea to replace it with a udp

i would send mine to you so you could use it, but i dont loan my tools out anymore, especially when they cost that much money[&:]

i dont know if it means anything to you but i had a long talk with some of the techs from summit racing, we discuessed mods for a sohc 96 neon, they said that what your looking for in a UDP is not worth the money........it will not give you a noticible difference unless you have forced indux......save your money and get that.....

figure this out for yourself......how much have you spent on mods so far......how much hp have you gained.........how close would u be to a turbo.....hope u like the answer

And the techs know some much ...you can't believe everything you hear just because someone works at a certain place. UDP's on neons have been dyno proven to show the freed up horsepower. They allow the neon to rev quicker and accelerate quicker.
