i was wondering if you could put an srt-4 head on a dohc 98 neon?

correct me if im wrong, but i dont think you can....even though the heads are similar.....there are still some different things....like the intake manifold, ecu....other wiring..etc

Well...you could, but it isn't worth all the effort. Doesn't just bolt up anyway.

oh ok thats what i was wondering if it just bolted on or not cause i bought my neon and it didnt run (which i will never do again!) and come to find out the timing belt was snapped and the valves were bent only had compression in one cylinder and im just looken to fix it for as cheep as possible and sell it for as much as i can get and i saw a couple deals on srt-4 heads on ebay so i was just wondering if you have any ideas on how i can fix my car for super cheap let me know please thanks for the help

Just swap in a complete DOHC head and put on a new timing belt, water pump and tensioner pulley and you should be good to go.
