hook the black to any ground.....then use a haynes manual to find the wire that suppliespower to the lights in the gauge cluster that way the glow overlay will only turn on when the lights are on....i cant remember what color the wire is

I just pigtailed mine into what ever turned on when I pulled parking lights on basically which was my ash tray light. I had mine custom made at speedhut.com its got Grim Reaper over the RPM gauge white cluster reverse E glo to and man they look sweet especially blue at night the Grim Reaper Glows himself too.

so are there wires that are behind my cluster now that are just useless until I want to put a tach on it? Also is the cluster with the tach only for MTX or can I put it on my ATX now? Cause next month im swapping transmission anyway I am just wondering if the tach will work on both. I think it will I just wanted to get some other input. Thanks
