I have a 1996 Neon that has some acceleration problems. I have changed the fuel filter, fuel injector, all plugs & wires. The problem is sporadic. I may be driving along just fine and then start to loose power. If I let off the gas then push again it helps sometimes? Anyone with same problem or suggestions?

 

Check your TPS. sometimes they go bad and it isn't enough to set off the engine light. My '97 did that. Also I had a simiar problem with my '98 dohc and whenever I smacked the computer while it was running, the car would shudder and run ok for a while. I replace the computer (e-bay) for 50.00 and problem solved. Just a couple of ideas that might help.
